BREW
A cafe/bar located in the heart of Hull City Centre on the corner of Albion Street and Bond Street. Brew specialises in local craft beer, loose leaf tea and freshly ground coffee. With a Scandinavian style interior, Brew is a welcoming space to enjoy a warm drink in the afternoon or a few drinks in the evening. It is open for coffee and teas from 9am during the week, and alcohol is served from 11am. The beers come mostly from local breweries with 6 taps and a further extensive selection of craft beer in cans and bottles.
BE COFFEE
BE Coffee is an independent coffee shop located in the Old Town just next to the Minster and Trinity Market. BE’s coffee is roasted a short 15 min walk away from their Old Town location by River City Coffee. There’s no doubt you’re supporting local businesses when sipping a drink at BE. Food served in the café is also all homemade by the family, offering both vegan and veggie options to snack on while you indulge on your caffeine fix.
CAFFEINATED
Established in 2015, Caffeinated is a small coffee and bakery stall inside Trinity Market. Caffeinated is a staple indie option for coffee and cakes in Hull City Centre. Serving a selection of excellent quality coffees brewed from natural local coffee beans, the stalls hot drinks are full of flavour. Caffeinated is the go-to for coffee when browsing other local indies at Trinity Market.
HUMBER STREET GALLERY CAFE
Humber Street’s Gallery café is located on the ground floor of Humber Street Gallery, which opened as a part of Hull’s UK City of Culture programme in 2017. HSG Café is perfect for a coffee and cake break before or after browsing what the gallery has to offer. The space is also home to a rooftop bar, a perfect location to enjoy a coffee or beer when the rain holds off for long enough. The café is also available for hire for one off events for parties and businesses.
